About this place
Atatürk 100th Year Park is a public open space in Damlataş. The monument opened in 2023 for the Republic’s centenary also gives it a commemorative role. Sculptor Metin Yurdanur’s composition depicts Atatürk with young people and children. Around twenty metres long, it brings together three sculptural groups. Their emphasis on younger generations expresses the idea of carrying the Republic’s legacy forward. The park and monument can be included in a walk through Damlataş.
